Founder & Director of EWI DIF

Rajiv Bhatia is the Founder and Director of EWI Development Initiative Foundation (aka East West Interconnect).

He is based out of Mumbai and Pune he has been connected with the North East since the past 12 years. (Jan 2004)

His focus has been to study entrepreneurship development potential in the NER as a way to the creation of prosperity in the region.

He has a deep desire to help develop leaders and entrepreneurs who could carry the responsibility of capital and investments & create jobs, as a preferred way forward for the development of the NER.

He educated in Mumbai from the Cathedral and John Connon School and then completed his Masters in Commerce with Banking Finance from HR College and Diplomas in Computer Programming.

He has work experience of around 30 years in diverse functional areas of Start-ups, Entrepreneurship, IT & Systems, Finance, Stocks & Investments, Property, Law & Compliances, Marketing, Human Resource Development, Training, Organisational Development & Business Strategy. He has worked across sectors.

He has managed his management service companies, foundations and trusts as well as personal family property and investments.

Today he is well regarded as a Director, Business Counsellor, Strategy Consultant, Entrepreneurship Mentor, Philanthropist and Trustee.
